The Bruce Grove 'Protect Our Women' (POW) Project

The Bruce Grove ‘Protect Our Women’ (POW) project is returning in May!

The project is for both young women and men aged between 11-19 (up to 25 with SEN) and is an awareness programme which supports young people to explore various topics around the theme of violence against women and girls.

The group will meet for four consecutive weeks at BGYS to learn about and discuss four key topics:

  • domestic abuse
  • sexual violence
  • stalking
  • child sexual exploitation

The course is accredited.

  • Start date: 8 May 2017 (for four weeks)
  • Session times: 5pm-7pm
  • Venue: Bruce Grove Youth Centre 
  • Refreshments: Hot food is provided for each session!
